Monday 1/13/20

This morning we started with number sentences and strategies for solving basic facts questions. We discussed the 7 times tables specifically and encouraged students to choose this set for memorization, as there is no handy trick. Students worked on some practice questions. In French, we continued working on clothing vocabulary. Students described their own outfits and worked on a "Mot Mystere" to practice their vocabulary. We will have a check-in on Wednesday, so students are encouraged to practice their vocabulary tonight and tomorrow. Students had more time to work on their Decade Writing in LA. This afternoon, students had time to work on unfinished work. We continued working on our Interior Plains notes. We ended the day by reading some of Chapter 9 of The Boundless.

We are in need of a volunteer for our Ski/Snowboard day on February 25. Please email me directly if you are able to come! Thanks in advance!
